Early morning walks in our garden and in the veld on our property reveal a wonderland of spiders’ webs. This is especially true on misty mornings when sunlight reflects off micro water droplets to reveal the otherwise invisible webs. All kinds of shapes and sizes are revealed; some are shaped like a wagon wheel, some are funnel-shaped, others look like a cargo net with an intricate pattern of squares, while others look like a fairy blanket spread over the ground and yet others have little tunnels in the middle.
